I’m on a deck interview roll today!

Here’s my interview with the Shadow Light Tarot:

1 – Tell me about yourself.  What is your most important characteristic? — Queen of Cups

I am spiritual, compassionate, and empathetic towards my querent.

2 – What are your strengths as a deck? — Four of Pentacles

I am closely familiar with and understand the benefits of attachment and can help you build secure attachments.

3 – What are your limits as a deck? — The High Priest

I am focused on helping you as an individual, rather than any collective whole.  I don’t see this as a limitation, however.

4 – What are you here to teach me? — Two of Wands

I am here to teach you to how to develop your vision and make plans to bring it to fruition.

5 – How can I best learn and collaborate with you? — Eight of Cups

Sometimes we have to learn to walk away from things that no longer serve us or are no longer beneficial, but you have to be open to this possibility to learn and work with me.

6 – What is the potential outcome of our working relationship? — Seven of Wands

It will not always be easy, but our relationship is meant to teach and arm you with courage, resilience, and perseverance so that you will prevail and succeed.

In sum, the Shadow Light Tarot is truly focused on developing me as a strong individual. It wants me to develop my vision, make plans for me to succeed, exercise courage and perseverance, and learn to walk away from things that don’t benefit me anymore. I have not done very much shadow work, but I have a feeling that this will be a fitting deck to do shadow work, given that so many of its responses are about me as an individual.
